Chrysler is recalling 83,453 model-year 2017-2018 Dodge Journey SUVs to replace front side reflectors that do not meet federal safety standards. The amber indicator reflectors in the headlight assembly may not reflect brightly enough. A dim reflector may reduce the visibility of the vehicle to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on November 8, 2022. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403 or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle safety hotline at 888-327-4236 to learn more.
The remedy is under development.
