About the founder
Jason Hegedus, Esq.
The vision for Lemon Law Group Partners sprang from the tenacious spirit and entrepreneurial acumen of Jason Hegedus.
A lawyer by profession and an entrepreneur at heart, Jason witnessed firsthand the struggles of everyday American consumers stuck with defective vehicles (“lemons”) while representing a Big Three auto manufacturer as defense counsel. That experience inspired him to open a law firm dedicated to representing the same consumers he once faced across the table.
Jason was driven by the mission to advocate for consumers wronged by defective vehicles—an estimated 100,000 or more of which are sold in the U.S. each year.
Late 1990s
Begins litigating Lemon Law claims, representing a Big Three auto manufacturer as defense counsel.
2012
After nearly 15 years of litigating Lemon Law claims, forms Lemon Law Group Partners PLC to represent and protect consumers’ Lemon Law rights.
Today
A once-solo practice has grown into a nationwide team that has handled over 30,000 client matters across the U.S.†
Outside of consumer rights advocacy, Jason enjoys life north of Miami, attending his kids’ soccer games and dance recitals, and spending time with his wife while balancing his roles as a husband, father, and Managing Partner of Lemon Law Group Partners.
