Bentley is recalling certain model-year 2021-2022 Bentayga vehicles due to incorrectly installed seats. The second-row seat may not be aligned and locked on the seat rails, potentially causing it to move in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury to occupants.

Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on May 16, 2022. Owners may contact Bentley customer service at 800-777-6923 or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s vehicle safety hotline at 888-327-4236 to learn more.

To resolve the issue, dealers will inspect and reset the second-row seat rail positions to ensure proper engagement with the seat rails.

Vehicle manufacturers are legally required to repair any recalled issues or replace the defective part for free under the Highway Safety Act of 1970. If the dealership refuses to fix the problem or attempts to charge you for the repair, contact the manufacturer immediately.
